No one can stop the spoilage

Garments from "There’s no beginning. There’s no end", sugar, compression bag, vacuum cleaners

“No one can stop the spoilage” extends from “There’s no beginning. There’s no end.” (2020), a durational performance making candyfloss over 15 hours representing the limits between expectation and reality. In order to retain freshness from the sugar, the costumes and tools have been vacuum-sealed since October 2020. Unfortunately, air will inevitably escape. Is it unrealistic to hope that something can last forever?
