“No one can stop the spoilage” extends from “There’s no beginning. There’s no end.” (2020), a durational performance making candyfloss over 15 hours representing the limits between expectation and reality. In order to retain freshness from the sugar, the costumes and tools have been vacuum-sealed since October 2020. Unfortunately, air will inevitably escape. Is it unrealistic to hope that something can last forever?
